Agreement to Terms
By creating an account or using Sovereign Life Hub ("Sovereign," "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Sovereign is a personal life management platform that helps you organize your finances, tasks, calendar, study progress, and other aspects of your life. The Service includes AI-powered features that process your data to generate briefings, insights, and suggestions.
Accounts
Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid username and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others.
Account Security
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, you should change your password immediately and contact us.
Founding Membership
Pricing
Founding members receive access to Sovereign at a rate of $10 per month, locked for the lifetime of continuous membership. This rate will not increase as long as your membership remains active.
Billing
Membership fees are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time through your account page. Upon cancellation:
- Your access to paid features continues through the end of your current billing period
- After the billing period ends, your account reverts to free-tier access
- Your data is retained and remains accessible — cancellation does not delete your data
- If you resubscribe after cancellation, the founding rate is no longer guaranteed — you may be subject to the then-current pricing
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, you retain access through the end of that billing period.
Your Data
Ownership
You own your data. Sovereign does not claim any ownership rights over the content you create, upload, or store in the Service.
License to Us
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, display, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete your data or your account.
AI Processing
Your data may be processed by AI systems (currently Anthropic's Claude API) to power features like briefings, suggestions, and organizational insights. By using the Service, you consent to this processing. AI-generated outputs are provided as suggestions — you are responsible for decisions you make based on them.
Export and Deletion
You may export all of your data or permanently delete your account at any time through your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention after deletion.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our servers
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service (except as permitted by the BSL 1.1 license governing the public repository, if applicable)
- Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a hosted offering
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Intellectual Property
Our IP
The Service, including its design, architecture, governance systems, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Sovereign Life Hub. The source code, when publicly available, is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1) — you may use it under the terms of that license, but you may not operate a competing hosted service.
Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you create within the Service. We do not claim ownership of your tasks, financial records, journal entries, or any other personal data.
Service Availability
No Guaranteed Uptime
Sovereign is an early-stage product operated by a small team. We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues.
Changes to the Service
We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. If we make material changes that negatively affect your use, we will provide reasonable notice.
Early Access Acknowledgment
As a founding member, you acknowledge that Sovereign is in early access. You may encounter bugs, incomplete features, or changes to functionality. Your feedback helps us improve the product.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated suggestions or data displayed in the Service
- We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of financial calculations, budget projections, or debt payoff estimates provided by the Service — these are tools to assist your decision-making, not financial advice
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sovereign Life Hub, its founder, and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Informal Resolution
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
Jurisdiction
If informal resolution fails, any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
